This is an idea for DPA which I thought was fantastic and the students absolutely loved it.
Chair Aerobics (takes place right in the classroom)
1. Divid students into small groups of 4 or 5
2. Instruct students to create a routine as a group, which must include 10 skills using their chairs (they must repeat each skill 10 times). For example dips, set-ups, bicycles while sitting on their chairs. (Note - chairs don't have to be used with all skills, students can simply stand by their chair and perform the skill)
3. After groups have created their routine, allow them to set it to music. All groups will use the same song so that they can all continue practicing at the same time.
4. Give ample time to practice (this activity will take several days).
5. Each group then shares their routine with the rest of the class. While each group is presenting, the other groups will participate and follow allow with the routine. The presenters are essentially the instructors.
This activity spread over 5 days when my associate did it with her class. Not only does in fullfil the DPA requirement, it's fun and it promotes team building.
